Jocelyne Lopez has joined the team as Co-Owner and Principal Agent for the Property & Casualty division and has been an instrumental part of expanding The Shields Agency in 2023.

Previously, Jocelyne was with a captive company, but she wanted the freedom The Shields Agency provides as an independent agency to provide more options for her customers and referral partners.

She has been in the insurance industry for 10 years. Jocelyne started out as a receptionist and worked her way up as a licensed agent within a year. Then she went into the world of insurance technology, where she became the director of customer success for Sidekick Tools, a team accountability software that boosted sales and efficiency in insurance offices. Part of her duties there was running the beta test in the #1 State Farm Agency in the country.

Jocelyne is a Fort Worth native and graduated from Brewer High School. She is married and has three young sons: her bonus son, Calais, and her bio sons, Elijah and Lucas. Her biggest hobby right now is walking/hiking . She tries to explore a new trail every week. Her second favorite thing to do is to be a tourist in her own city as well as others!
