About the Role:

We are looking for a sharp, personable, and highly organized Customer Service Representative to support a busy insurance producer with client communication, appointment coordination, and task management. The ideal candidate is someone who can keep up with a fast-moving environment, juggle multiple priorities, and bring order to chaos (yes, we’re looking for a squirrel wrangler!).

This is a super mom-friendly environment—we understand family life and flexibility. However, when you’re on the clock, you must be able to maintain a distraction-free, professional environment—especially when speaking with clients via phone or Zoom.

This is a part-time, remote position with lighter hours in spring and summer, scaling up to as much as 40 hours per week during the busy season (September–December).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Call clients for pre- and post-sales follow-up, appointment confirmations, and general check-ins

  • Provide friendly, professional customer service via phone, Zoom, and email

  • Manage and maintain a busy calendar using Microsoft Outlook, including scheduling and rescheduling client meetings

  • Coordinate reminders, follow-up communications, and track next steps

  • Document all client interactions accurately and update internal systems

  • Assist with organizing tasks, managing communication flow, and keeping projects on track

  • Maintain high standards in grammar, spelling, and written correspondence

  • Remain calm and focused in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Polished communication skills—professional on the phone, Zoom, and in writing

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 tools

  • A proactive, can-do mindset with the ability to manage shifting priorities independently

  • A sense of humor and flexibility—especially helpful when wrangling squirrels

  • Must be able to pass a background check

  • May be required to obtain a temporary insurance license; if the relationship continues, a full license may be needed

  • Must be able to work in a quiet, distraction-free environment to ensure professional interactions with clients

Hours & Availability:

  • Part-time: hours will vary

  • Must be available during regular business hours

  • Up to 40 hours/week from September through December (Q4)

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate based on experience

  • 100% remote with flexible schedule
