RxDC Reporting

Instructions | Carrier Info | Vendor Options

The deadline to report 2025 RxDC data to CMS is June 1, 2026.

Carriers, third-party administrators (“TPAs”), pharmacy benefit managers (“PBMs”) and other vendors who assist plans with RxDC reporting usually send out survey and information requests for data from plan sponsors. Responses to these data requests are due well in advance of the June 1 deadline (a date in March or April is common).

In some cases, usually certain self-funded plans with carve-out benefits, the employer will need to submit some of the files to CMS to complete reporting.

Carrier Information

If your carrier requested information from your group, do not assume that step is optional or that it can wait until June 1. Some carrier response deadlines have already passed, and others are coming up quickly.

  • BCBS: Group administrators should access the Regulatory Data section of the administrative portal and provide the requested information by May 4, 2026.

  • Allstate / Nationwide: Allstate has issued a survey to group administrators that must be completed by May 7, 2026.

  • If you missed your carrier’s deadline: Your group may still have options to meet the June 1, 2026 CMS reporting deadline, but time is limited. Review additional instructions and available filing support as soon as possible.
